申报条件：
（i）教师（研究人员）：具有微生物，生化工程和农业工程及相关专业博士及以上学历，具有独立工作能力，有在高水平国际刊物发表论文及申请课题的成功经历或能力。能协助研究组长领导博士后和硕博研究生在微生物转化方面的工作并能承担一定的教学任务。
（ii）博士后：具有化学，农业工程，化工，化学，机械，微生物和生化工程及相关专业博士学位，具有生物质或化石燃料的化学转化（合成，气化，水解，热解，液化，燃烧等）或水热化学和绿色化学（离子液体，有机溶剂和超临界流体等）及生物转化研究经历。具有独立工作能力，有在高水平国际刊物发表论文及申请课题的成功经历或能力。
（iii）实验工程师/技术员：化学或相关专业（含本科及以上学历）毕业，并在分析仪器和设备方面有5年的工作经验：如在分析仪器（GC，HPLC，TOC，UV，FT-IR，TPD，BET等）和反应器（如高压反应釜，微波和超声波反应器及发酵罐等）使用管理和设计方面的经历。负责生物能源组仪器和设备等的操作，管理，设计和维护等。支撑生物能源组的研究和教育（包括本科生和研究生）计划。

生物能源组研究方向：
转化农业和生物质废弃物为高附加值的燃料，化学品和生物制品。具体研究内容包括如下：
1、纳米和固体催化剂的制备及应用，包括催化木质纤维素水解并生产可发酵糖，合成化学品和生物燃料，和催化植物油制备生物柴油等；
2、水热法水解纤维素、木质纤维素生产可发酵糖、有机酸和化学品等，及木质素的开发与应用；
3、微生物发酵法转化木质纤维素水解产物生产油脂（生物柴油）、醇、酮、有机酸、氢气及其它次级代谢产物。微生物发酵法转化副产品甘油生产乳酸、丙二醇等化学品；
4、绿色溶剂的研发与应用（水热水，离子液体，有机电解液，超临界流体等），双功能催化剂合成及用于催化生物质制化学品等。
One faculty, five postdoc and graduate student positions in Biofuels and Biorefinery
Location: Nanjing, China

College of Engineering, Nanjing Agricultural University (a top national university under the Ministry of Education of China) established a group for biomass and biorefinery in December 2015. One faculty position in microbiology at any ranks, and five postdoc and graduate student positions are now being recruited within this group led by Prof. Zhen FANG to convert renewable biomass and agricultural wastes to biofuels and chemicals.
Possible topical areas of this group include thermo-chemical conversion processes, hydrothermal processes, green solvents (ionic liquids, organic solvents, supercritical fluids) for biorefining, synthesis of nanocatalysts for chemicals, biofuels, bio-diesel production processes, biological conversion processes (e.g., microbial oil, algae biodiesel, fermentation for hydrogen, ethanol and butanol), conversion of biomass to liquid, solid and gaseous fuels; separation of bioproducts; integration of biomass production/conversion/utilization concepts; and other relevant topics.
The faculty member will be expected to develop an internationally recognized, externally funded research program and to provide leadership in educational undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of bioenergy and bio-based products from agricultural wastes.
The candidates are expected to have a background in micro-organisms, enzymes and algae to make bio-based products in sectors such as chemicals, food, biodiesel and bioenergy, and with demonstrated credentials in research, scholarship, supervising students, writing proposals and published papers in high impacted international journals.
The postdoctoral fellows, PhD and master graduate students will be expected to do internationally recognized research independently in the areas of bioenergy and bio-based products from biomass, help professors to supervise junior students and write proposals, and publish papers in high impacted international journals.

College of Engineering, Nanjing Agricultural University (a top national university under Ministry of Education of China) established a group for 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing in December 2015. Permanent academics are now being recruited within this group led by Prof. Shoufeng YANG and A/Prof Gaoyan ZHONG.
Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU) is one of the earliest institutions of higher agricultural education in China and a national key university under the Chinese Ministry of Education. The lineage of Nanjing Agricultural University can be traced back to 1902 and Sanjiang Normal School, a teacher training center in Nanjing. In 1952, Nanjing Agricultural College was founded through the merger of the two agricultural faculties belonging to University of Nanking (est. 1914) and National Central University (est. 1928) along with several departments of the Agricultural College of Zhejiang University. In 1984, the college was renamed Nanjing Agricultural University with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

Responsibilities:
He/She who holds this position should engage in high-quality teaching. There can be a reduction of teaching in the first 3 years.
He/She who holds this position should be engaged in high-level research, implement new developments in the academic discipline set up the original theoretical and practical researches or key technologies, enhance his/her own international academic influence and to become an internationally active academic member.

Remuneration:
