山东大学是一所历史悠久、在国内外具有重要影响的教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国家“211 工程”、“985 工程”重点建设的高水平大学之一，也是中国近代高等教育的起源性大学。 

 

Shandong University (SDU) is a time-honored comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of China’s Ministry of Education. It is a member university of Project 211 and Project 985, two major national initiatives seeking to enhance the international competitiveness of the top-tier universities in China. As one of the original higher education institutions in modern China, SDU has become highly influential both at home and abroad. 

 

近年来山东大学实现了跨越式发展，学校的综合办学实力和竞争力明显增强，其中化学、物理、临床医学、材料科学、生物学与生物化学、工程学、药理学与毒理学、神经科学与行为、数学、环境工程与生态学、免疫学、植物与动物学、分子生物学与遗传学、农业科学、社会科学总论、计算机科学等16个学科进入了世界ESI排名的前1%，其中化学学科进入世界ESI排名前1‰。学校规模宏大，形成了一校三地（济南、青岛、威海）、八个校园的办学格局。 

 

In recent years, SDU has leapfrogged in its development, with remarkably enhanced overall strength and competitiveness. Sixteen of its disciplines rank among the top 1% in the ESI Rankings. These include Chemistry, Physics, Clinical Medicine, Materials Science, Biology and Biochemistry, Engineering, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Neuroscience and Behavior, Mathematics, Environmental Engineering and Ecology, Immunology, Plant and Animal Science, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Agricultural Science, General Social Science as well as Computer Science. It is worth mentioning that Chemistry ranks among the top 1‰ in the in the ESI Rankings. Currently SDU comprises eight campuses in three cities (Jinan, Qingdao and Weihai).

齐鲁青年论坛将于山东大学校庆日期间举办，旨在搭建海内外优秀青年学者学术交流的平台，通过学术报告和研讨，促进海内外青年学者之间的交流和合作。 

 

The Qilu Youth Forum will be held during the anniversary celebration of SDU. It aims to serve as a platform for outstanding young scholars from all over the world to conduct academic exchanges as well as to promote academic cooperation amongst these scholars through academic reports and seminars. 

 

论坛采取主论坛和分论坛相结合的方式，拟设置人文社科、数学与金融、物理学、化学与化工、生物学、材料科学与工程、先进光电磁材料、电气工程、环境化学与生态学、土木工程、控制科学与工程、微电子、大数据处理与可视计算、动力工程及工程热物理、海洋生物地球化学、医学等十六个学科分论坛和威海校区分论坛。 

 

The forum will feature a main forum along with 16 discipline-specific sub-forums, namely Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Finance, Physics, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Biology, Materials Science and Engineering, Advanced Optoelectronic and Magnetic Materials, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Chemistry and Ecology, Civil Engineering, Control Science and Engineering, Microelectronics, Dig Data Processing and Visual Computing, Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, Marine Biogeochemistry as well as Medicine. In addition, there will also be a Weihai Campus sub-forum. 

 

 

 

1.青年千人、青年拔尖人才、优青及青年长江获得者； 

 

2.年龄在38岁以下；具有海内外知名大学博士学位；在本领域取得具有重要学术影响的标志性研究成果，具有较强的学术潜力，学术水平居于本学科领域同年龄段学者前列的海内外优秀青年人才。 

 

1. Being a member of the Thousand Talent Program for Young Outstanding Scientists, or a member of the Young Top-notch Talents Support Program, or a member of the National Natural Science Foundation for Outstanding Youth or a member of the Young Cheung Kong Scholars Program. 

 

2. Being an outstanding young scholar under the age of 38, who has been awarded a doctorate by a prestigious university at home or abroad; having made remarkable achievements with significant academic influence in a certain field; enjoying strong development potential and outshines one’s peers academically.

受邀学者收到正式邀请函后自订机票，学校报销往返机票，最高报销1万元人民币/人。论坛期间食宿由主办单位统一安排。 

 

All invitees are expected to book your own flight tickets after receiving the official invitation letter. SDU will reimburse each invitee up to 10000 RMB for round trip travel expenses. Accommodation during the forum will be covered by SDU.
