A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Wong Lab. We are interested in using synthetic biology to improve adoptive T cell cancer therapy by increasing T cells’ specificity toward cancerous cells and enhancing T cells’ capability to survive in the tumor microenvironment. We are looking for motivated candidates with background in Synthetic Biology, Bioengineering, Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Biophysics. Strong preference will be given to candidates with expertise in modular gene assembly techniques (i.e. Gibson, golden gate, etc), biological network design and engineering, T cell signaling, and/or mouse tumor models.

Successful candidate will be working in a highly unique and interdisciplinary research program that interfaces with synthetic biology, immunology, and cancer therapy.
