Postdoctoral Position
Regulation of double strand break repair pathway choice
We are offering a postdoctoral position to work on the regulation between homologous recombination and non-homologous end-joining in human cells. The work will involve molecular and cellular biology approaches. Candidates should have a strong background in those fields. Previous experience in DNA repair will be an advantage. Pre-selected candidates will be interviewed.
The post will be based at CABIMER (Andalusian Center for Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine), in Seville, Spain. CABIMER is a state-of-the-art research institute devoted to biomedical and molecular biology research (http://www.cabimer.es/web/en). It provides excellent core facilities and an international environment in an attractive location.
The postdoc will join the laboratory of Pablo Huertas, and will be funded by the European Research Council. Long-term funding, up to 4 years, available. Successful candidates are expected to join the lab early 2013.
