Career Development Fellow £26,022 to £27,623 per annum
Applications are invited for a MRC Career Development Fellowship to work in the laboratory of Dr A.G.Betz at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (http://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/group-leaders/a-to-g/a-betz). The project aims to elucidate transcriptional regulatory networks orchestrating regulatory T cell lineage commitment and plasticity. The methods used will include mouse models, cell culture and retroviral vector system together with next generation sequencing for transcriptome and epigenome profiling, single molecule RNA-seq and bioinformatics.
You will have a PhD in a relevant biological subject or are due to complete doctoral studies within 3 months of applying. A strong publication record in one or more of these disciplines would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be awarded a two year Career Development Fellowship, this is a training and development position for a postdoctoral scientist who has recently completed his or her doctoral studies, or is moving into a new research discipline.
