美国堪萨斯大学工程学博士后职位
The University of Kansas invites qualified researchers and professionals to submit online applications for the position of Post Doctoral Researcher or Research Associate in various engineering departments and research centers. These positions will be responsible for conducting research and/or developing systems to conduct research in specific scientific areas consistent with the department’s or center’s current research interests.
Applications will be accepted online throughout the year and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Successful applicants will remain in the pool and will be contacted as the need arises.
Required Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. in engineering or closely related field.
2. At least 1 year experience in area directly related to specific scientific research.
The Research Associate position additionally requires a minimum of 3 years postdoctoral research or industry research experience in a related field.
NOTE: To be appointed with the Postdoctoral Researcher title, it is necessary to have the PhD in hand. Appointments made without a diploma or certified transcript indicating an earned doctorate are conditional hires and are appointed on an interim basis not to exceed 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Evidence of advanced knowledge or experience in area directly related to specific scientific research.
2. Publications or other evidence of scholarly achievement. Evidence of existing scientific collaborations.
3. Teaching experience.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Experience with developing proposals.
6. Experience mentoring graduate students.
